Lafayette, Louisiana is certainly one of the well known cities within the state. You will enjoy your stay there, and there are nearly 500 restaurants to choose from when you want to grab a bite to eat. That doesn’t make choosing easy, does it? Of course, I’m going to highlight three Lafayette restaurants for you so that you can easily pick a good spot.
In Lafayette, one of the best restaurants is Deano’s, and you will find it on Bertrand Drive. This is a pizza place, but it is known for Italian food and seafood, too. One reviewer talks about this place having great gumbo, too. Also, when it comes to the lasagna served up there, it is 12 layers. That sounds like some delicious lasagna.
Aside from Deano’s, there is also Louisiana Crawfish Time. On Verot School Road, this place represents a type of cuisine you will find all over Louisiana. Do you know ow what I’m talking about? If you don’t, then you should probably visit this place first. This cuisine is part of the culture of the state, and it is all over Lafayette as you can imagine. Yet, this is one of the best places to get it while you’re there.
Saint Street Inn is the next spot, and it is found on Brook Avenue. This establishment serves up great soups, mahi mahi and much more. One reviewer talks about it being a great spot for brunch, and the person also mentions there was live music. Now that sounds like a fun time if you ask me. How about some rice and sausage with your okra soup? Again, that’s Louisiana cuisine for you. You are going to get the entire experience while you’re in Lafayette LA, and you should expect nothing less than the best.
